In the restaurant "Poststation zum alten Forstamt" you can feel the spirit of times gone by at every turn. The house has shone in its present form since 1765, but late Romanesque arches in the vaulted cellar indicate that it was built in the 13th/14th century. The building was carefully renovated while preserving its historical substance. In the main building, 13 charming hotel rooms have been created - no two rooms are alike - each room exudes a very individual atmosphere.
A unique ambience also awaits you in the barn, which has been converted into a restaurant. In the partially exposed half-timbering, large window fronts offer a fantastic view of the park-like grounds. In winter the cosy fireplace, in summer the wonderful terrace under the over one hundred year old trees. Every season has its own special charm at the Post Station and invites you to enjoy it.
